La Rosière

 

La Rosière is a traditional chalet style resort which is smaller and quieter than its more popular neighbours of Val d’Isere, Les Arcs and Tignes.

 

The Savoyard village has a good choice of shops and laid back bars and its small size means that it is only ever a short walk to the ski lift. The smaller Les Eucherts can be reached on foot along floodlit forest oaths or by a free ski bus.

 

The high altitude resort shares the Espace San Bernado ski area (180 km of pistes) with La Thuile in Italy so skiing over the border for lunch is very popular. To admire Mont Blanc and a 360 degree panorama between France and Italy, visit the

Panoramic Experience with its suspended glass bridge.

 

Other attractions in the village include a cinema, four wellness centres, discotheque, bowling alley and ice rink.
